python3-markdown software package provides text-to-HTML conversion library/tool (implemented in Python 3), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-markdown
python3-markdown is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-markdown package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-markdown *
You will get with python3-markdown package name, version, architecture and description in a table
